Welcome to Belgium
Belgium holds a special place in our heart. We have relatives there and we spent a month with them exploring this incredible, small country. Belgium is steeped in history from World War I and II sites, to medieval castles, to glorious cathedrals, to cities with serene canals. I would be amiss if I didn’t mention the unique beer culture in Belgium. So ingrained in the mind of the Belgian is the importance of beer, that it was formally recognized on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list. Simply put, they have the best beer in the world. Oh, and we can’t forget chocolate, and waffles…

“I purchased your book. It arrived today, and after getting through the first couple of chapters I just want to hug you. I’ve been there, been to “how am I going to do this?!? Ok, I have to work harder, I have to do a job I know is below my skill level…” I’m going to keep reading now. I knew I was your biggest fan for a reason. And this book has come to me with perfect timing.” – Amanda M.
