Welcome to France
While staying in Italy, we were close enough to the French border to take a day trip to Briançon—a commune in the Hautes-Alpes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in southeastern France. The town has the highest altitude of any city in France, and at one time, was considered the highest town in Europe. Views of the French Alps from the top of Briançon are magnificent. We also stayed in the city of Lille on our way to Belgium. Since returning home, we have learned there is an abandoned town in the Canadian Rockies named Lille after this same city in France.

“I purchased your book. It arrived today, and after getting through the first couple of chapters I just want to hug you. I’ve been there, been to “how am I going to do this?!? Ok, I have to work harder, I have to do a job I know is below my skill level…” I’m going to keep reading now. I knew I was your biggest fan for a reason. And this book has come to me with perfect timing.” – Amanda M.
