Welcome to Greece
My visit to Greece was unlike any other. I travelled to this remarkable country on a study tour with my Travel & Tourism class from SAIT. I had never travelled to a country with a large group of people before, over 40, to be exact. Although there were challenges and also hilarity going on a trip with so many people (I think my next book will be about this excursion), I fell in love with this country. Steeped in historical sites, the best food ever, not to mention stunning countrysides, and of course, the beautiful islands in their rugged landscape, simplistic buildings, and complex streets. Greece is an incredible place to visit and my favourite food destination.

My visit to Greece came before my travel writing days so I have not written a singular post on the country; however, you can get the story on my travels through Greece in my book Roam Free: A Travel Transformation Memoir.
“I purchased your book. It arrived today, and after getting through the first couple of chapters I just want to hug you. I’ve been there, been to “how am I going to do this?!? Ok, I have to work harder, I have to do a job I know is below my skill level…” I’m going to keep reading now. I knew I was your biggest fan for a reason. And this book has come to me with perfect timing.” – Amanda M.
