Welcome to Mexico
My family visited Mexico for a week and stayed at our first all-inclusive resort. It was an interesting stay for us as we are not beach people but rather seek out historical sites. Chichen Itza was the highlight of our stay. The great Mayan ruins were once overtaken by the jungle and discovered by mistake. Now, they are a major tourist attraction for the country of Mexico. There are many other Mayan sites to visit such as Coba and Tulum. I have not written a blog about Mexico as I was honing my travel writing skills at the time and the angle of the story just didn’t make the cut—even after numerous edits, it didn’t come together. I can; however, recommend where we stayed as the resort was excellent.
Where to Stay in Mexico…

- The resort at Playa del Carmen is massive with an array of restaurants to suit any tastes. Entertainment is scheduled daily to keep anyone occupied.

“I purchased your book. It arrived today, and after getting through the first couple of chapters I just want to hug you. I’ve been there, been to “how am I going to do this?!? Ok, I have to work harder, I have to do a job I know is below my skill level…” I’m going to keep reading now. I knew I was your biggest fan for a reason. And this book has come to me with perfect timing.” – Amanda M.
