Welcome to the Netherlands
Often referred to as Holland, the Netherlands is a land of windmills, bicycles, and canals. English is widely spoken by the Dutch making it easy for visitors to fit in and navigate the streets. We visited two cities in the Netherlands—Amsterdam and The Hague. The Hague is the quieter of the two cities as Amsterdam streets can often be packed with people. Always watch for bicycles because here they have the right of way.

“I purchased your book. It arrived today, and after getting through the first couple of chapters I just want to hug you. I’ve been there, been to “how am I going to do this?!? Ok, I have to work harder, I have to do a job I know is below my skill level…” I’m going to keep reading now. I knew I was your biggest fan for a reason. And this book has come to me with perfect timing.” – Amanda M.
