Welcome to Spain

Our time in Spain was spent in the far southern tip in the Andalusia region. We visited in the shoulder season so the beach at our resort was pretty much our own. This was my first visit to Europe and my first exposure to siesta. I don’t think I really got used to shops closing midday and then not reopening. What I liked about our location was that we could explore other countries such as Gibraltar and Morocco.
